Shade for glazed rooms

Conservatory blinds measured and fitted in Harrogate.

A conservatory needs more than matching fabric. The blind system must suit the heat, glazing, access and movement of each window or door.

Control glare and privacy

Reduce harsh sunlight and overlooking while retaining a bright, usable room.

Products for glazed spaces

Pleated, cellular, roller and vertical options suit different panels, doors and roof positions.

03

Measured as one scheme

Alignment, control positions and door access are planned together so a multi-blind installation feels coherent.

What to consider

Different glass positions need different answers.

Side windows, French doors and roof panels do not behave in the same way. Vertical or roller blinds may suit wide side glazing, while pleated or cellular systems can be a neater answer on individual panes and suitable roof sections.

We assess heat exposure, ventilation, opening mechanisms and the structure available for fixing. Where a roof or frame cannot safely support a blind, we say so before an order is placed.

Where it works

Often a strong choice for:

  • Conservatory side windows
  • French and patio doors
  • Orangeries and garden rooms
  • Glare on screens and seating
  • Overlooked glazed spaces
  • Suitable roof panels

Ask on WhatsApp
Which blinds are best for conservatory roofs?

Pleated and cellular systems are commonly used, but suitability depends on the roof type, panel shape, temperature and available fixing structure.

Will conservatory blinds stop the room overheating?

They can reduce solar gain and glare, especially when reflective or cellular fabrics are selected, but no internal blind can eliminate all heat from extensive glazing.

Can conservatory blinds be motorised?

Yes on suitable systems and structures. Motorisation is particularly useful for roof or high-level blinds where manual controls would be awkward.
